A food and Nutrition Company in Nigeria, Arla Foods, and producers of Dano Milk has unveiled a free healthcare screening service as part of its social responsibility to Nigerians.
The free health screening service tagged Dano health on wheels was launched yesterday at the premises of the rivers state school of nursing in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The marketing manager of Dano milk, Afoussat Traore, said the aim of the health on wheels Dano mobile truck initiative is to give people the opportunity to check their vital signs free of charge anywhere they are.
She said the mobile truck will move to other parts of the country after servicing people in south south and the south east.
The national president of dietitians association of Nigeria and Guest Speakers at the event professor Caroline uchenna okuanatawali called on Nigerians to take advantage of the free health on wheels Dano project and go for regular medical checks.
Over fifty persons benefited from the free health screening during the launch while free dano products were distributed to nursing students at the unveiling.
