Two weeks after the escape of suspected ritualist Ifeanyi Dike from Police detention, the security agency is yet to re-arrest the suspect.

Ifeanyi Dike escaped from police custody on Sunday, August 20.

Ifeanyi Dike was arrested and paraded by the Rivers state police Command for allegedly raping and killing an eight year old girl at Eliozu in Obio-Akpo Local Government area of the state.

Dike had allegedly raped, killed and removed vital parts of the girl’s body before he was arrested by local security in the area.

Sources said the suspect had planned to use his victim for ritual purpose.

However, Commissioner of Police in Rivers State Ahmed Zaki stated that the police has deployed all necessary means at its disposal to re-arrest the suspect.

Ahmed Zaki said the suspect has no where to hide in the country.
