Police rescues 14 kidnapped oil workers in Rivers State

The Rivers State Police Command says it has rescued fourteen oil workers kidnapped early this month in ONELGA by unknown gunmen.

The Command Public Relations Officer Nnamdi Omoni while presenting the rescued victim to journalists said the oil workers were rescued in the early hours of today during an operation at the Obrikom community.

The Police PRO said the fourteen oil workers were rescued unhurt.

You will recall that the fourteen oil workers were kidnapped on the 1st of September while returning to Port-Harcourt from Omoku while on time-off.
