Political appointees in Oyigbo congratulate Gerald Oforji on his two years in office

Political Appointees in Oyigbo Local Government Area has congratulated the Chairman of the council PRINCE GERALD OFORJI on his two years in office.

The political appointees in a joint statement signed by the Council Secretary, GODSON NWACHUKWU and the chief of staff for all the political appointees UGOCHUKWU OKIJA commended Governor Nyesom Wike for giving them GERALD OFORJI as the LGA Chairman.

The statement said GERALD OFORJI has succeeded in mediating the boundary crisis between Oyigbo and Agbonchia in Eleme, krokro in Tai & Afam ukwu, Luurre in Khana and Azuogu, Marihu & Obete.

The Political Appointees also commended the chairman for the numerous projects like the annual grading of 62 internal Roads, the doctors quarter at the integrated health center and the on-going lock up shops at the Eke Oyigbo ultra- modern market.

”Upon your swearing-in on the 18th of June,2018 into office was your quick reaction of projecting our LGA as the most peaceful in the state by mediating in boundary crisis between Oyigbo and Agbonchia in Eleme,krokro in Tai & Afam ukwu, Luurre in Khana and Azuogu, Marihu & Obete.Your people-oriented projects of bringing infrastructural developments to the people, such as the doctors quarter at the integrated health center ready for commissioning and the lock-up shops at the Eke Oyigbo ultra-modern market under construction, annual grading of 62 internal Roads”. 

The statement noted that the leadership style of GERALD OFORJI has projected Oyigbo as the most peaceful Local Government in Rivers State.

The political appointees also promised to continue to assist the LGA Chairman and the State Governor in delivering the dividends of democracy to Oyigbo people.
