Today is Rivers State monthly environmental sanitation.
A statement issued by the Commissioner for Environment, Professor Roselyn Konya said there will be restriction of movement from 7am to 10am to enable members of the public observe the sanitation exercise.
Professor Roselyn Konya warned that defaulters of the restriction of movement will be arrested and prosecuted at the sanitation Marshal Courts.
She called on Caretaker Committee Chairmen across the twenty three local government areas to take the lead in the exercise in their local government councils.
The statement further appealed to corporate and private organizations to support the sanitation exercise with tools.
