The Nigeria Football Federation NFF has paid two-month salaries of the Head Coach of the Super Falcons Florence Omagbemi.
The Chairman of the Technical and Developmental Committee Chris Green disclosed this to our correspondent in an interview in Port Harcourt.
Chris Green also revealed that the NFF will clear the remaining salaries before the end of the tournament.
”In Nigeria today it’s very difficult to see anybody working in any institution that get paid as at when due. World over, we have economic recession, money is not our friend, but at the same we are doing everything humanly possible to clear the debts.”
”We have pay them for two months, we still have backlog of arrears yet unpaid. The President of NFF together with his board is doing everything humanly possible to pay up the backlog of salaries before the end of the African Women’s Championship in Cameroon” he said.
