The traditional institution of Ekpeye Kingdom in Rivers State has decried the continued killings of people in the area.

Paramount Ruler of Ekpeyeland Eze Robinson O. Robinson said the killings in Ekpeye land are becoming frightful.

Eze Robinson O. Robinson raised the outcry following the latest killings of nine people in Okogbe community in Igbuduya clan barely three weeks when eight persons were killed in Ozochi community in Ahoada East.

The Ekpeye monarch spoke at a press conference in Port Harcourt to decry the continued killing in Ekpeyeland.

Eze Robinson O. Robinson expressed dismay that the government and security agencies are yet to do anything despite repeated outcries over the killings in Ekpeyeland.

The Ekpeye monarch linked the killers of the nine people in Okogbe town to those who murdered five police officers in the same Okogbe town few weeks backs.
