Feelers from the camp of Rivers United have it that some key officials of the club are now grumbling after being left out of the N7m largesse by Governor Nyesom on Sunday.

The largesse came as a result of Rivers United 2-0 win over Shooting Stars at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt in a Nigeria Professional Football League encounter.

A reliable source whispered to Stardom International that the largesse had been shared on man-know-man basis, as most of the key officials were left out.

The source who confided in us disclosed that the team’s medical team, media officer, and other key officials we left with nothing as their names were excluded from the original list.

“We have names of people who were never officials in the list of the players and officials. Some of the main officials of the team were unceremoniously left out,” the source disclosed.

“In fact, another list of eleven persons emerged and we don’t know where it came from. Another list might be drawn and the money shared returned to ensure equity in the sharing of the largesse.

The governor also promised N7m and N3.5m for away wins and draws for the remainder of the Nigeria Professional Football League season.

Governor Wike has also promised to give US$50,0000 for the team to beat either Enyimba or JC Atete FC in the federations cup quarter final.
