Body Building Federation partners agency to promote sport

The Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs and Amnesty program Professor Charles Dokubo has agreed to partner with the Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation of Nigeria ABBFN.

Professor Charles Dokubo made this agreement when the leadership of ABBFN ably-led by its President Soye Elekima paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja.

The office of the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs and Amnesty Program will support the ABBFN on its trip to attend the 2018 World Bodybuilding Championship billed to hold in Benidorm, Spain and other programs of the Federation.

Earlier, the President ABBFN Soye Elekima lauded the activities and impact thereof of Professor Charles Dokubo since he assumed office.

Soye Elekima noted that most of the athletes of the federation are indigenes of Niger Delta states.

The ABBFN also explained how the sport has encouraged a healthy lifestyle and imbued disciplined lifestyle in the youths of the region.

The ABBFN also expects the Niger Delta affairs and Amnesty office of the President to sponsor a diploma certification training programme in Fitness, massage, and related disciplines.

He said this would allow participants secure jobs in the given areas.
