Emulate OPM good gestures-RSG tells Men of God

The Rivers State Government says it will continue to partner with faith-based organizations that cue into the ‘NEW RIVERS VISION’ of Governor Nyesom Wike.

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike said this during the 13th Anniversary Celebration of OPM and the 46th birthday of the General Overseer of OPM Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere.

The Governor, represented by the Chief of Staff Government House Port Harcourt, Emeka Woke said the free education, skills acquisition, and free health policy of OPM has brought peace and development in the state.

He said the state government is happy with the different empowerment scheme initiated by the General Overseer of OPM, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere and promised to support the church in its mission.

Gov Wike also urged other men of God to emulate the good gestures of OPM so as to better the lives of their members and Nigeria at large.

In her address, the Vice President of Liberia, Dr.Jewel Taylor called on Christians to serve humanity with their virtues.

She said that everybody has a purpose in life and tasked Christians to allow the will of God of their lives.

Dr.Jewel Taylor said the story of Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere should serve as an inspiration to many.

She said that God can use anyone to be a blessing to many generations.

The General Overseer of OPM, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere while thanking God for their achievements over the years said the church will continue to wins more souls for God.

He said that the Church has contributed to improving the security of lives and properties in the state by offering different skills acquisition programmes to repentant cultists and criminals.

Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere said the state is now safe for investors to come in and invest in Rivers State.

Our correspondent reports that the church also launched a book on the biography of the church titled History and Development of OPM.
