The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries OPM Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere has opened a new Rehabilitation Centre in Aluu, Rivers State for repentant cultists, armed robbers, and kidnappers.
Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere while commissioning the 74 unit estate Rehabilitation Centre said his vision is to eradicate crime and criminality in Nigeria.
He said the repentant cultists and armed robbers will also undergo training in different skills like pipeline welding, oil rigging, and other skills at the OPM skill acquisition center.
The General Overseer of OPM said the repentant cultists will re-unite with their families and society after their rehabilitation at the center.
He also said that the Federal Government has certified the OPM free skill acquisition center at Trans-Amadi Industrial Area in Port Harcourt.
Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere noted that many graduates of the free skills acquisition center has been gainfully employed in different firms across the country and even outside Nigeria.
The Paramount Ruler of Eliogbolo Community Eze Aburu Nwanwa asked the repentant cultists not to go back to their old ways.
Eze Aburu Nwanwa said the General Overseer of OPM is a God sent and asked other Men of God to emulate the good gestures of Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere.
The Supervisor of the repentant cultists Pastor David Udoka while speaking during the commissioning of the rehabilitation center commended Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere for changing their lives.
He said that the Man of God has transformed them into soldiers of Christ.
David Udoka pointed out that they are now winning souls for God.
The Supervisor of the repentant cultists also asked the beneficiaries of the programme to make good use of the opportunity to better their lives.
Our correspondent reports that over 1000 repentant cultists, armed robbers, and kidnappers will be trained in the rehabilitation center.
