Court grants 10million naira bail to the manager of D’Villa homes

A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has granted bail to one Amanda Onuoha, a Manager of Livelihood Homes Popularly Known as the D’Villa Homes to the tune of 10 million naira.

Amanda Onuoha, one of the managers at D’VILLA properties is standing trial one four-count charges bothering on felony, conspiracy, and advance fee fraud to the tune of over 700 million naira.

During the court proceeding, the manager pleaded not guilty to the charges.

However, Justice.E.I.SANI after entertaining arguments from the prosecuting and the defendant lawyers granted bail to Amanda Onuoha with one surety.

The court ruled that the surety must have landed properties in Port Harcourt and must be verified by the Court Registrar.

Our correspondent reports that the court remanded Amanda Onuoha at the Correctional Centre pending when she meets her bail condition.

The case was adjourned to 7th September for the commencement of trial.
