Foundation to offer scholarships to students in Rivers State

A Non-Governmental Organization, the Wise Link Foundation says it will award scholarships to the best-performing students that benefitted from its free JAMB Forms projects.

The Wise Link Foundation recently distributed 200 free JAMB Forms to students in the 23 local government areas of Rivers State.

The President General of Wise Link Foundation BRUCE WISDOM while handing over the JAMB forms to the beneficiaries asked them to study hard for the examination.

”There will be an Education Trust Fund. We’re planning on that, the foundation is working seriously on that. So we want to encourage the youths of Rivers State as much that has come out today that we want to give scholarships to the very best students that come out with the very best results. We will give them scholarship from level one to any level they want to attain”

”They should remain steadfast, committed to whatever they want to do. Whatever they want to become in life they should have the zeal and passion for what they want to do and the sky will always be their limit” he said.

In his comment, the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN in Rivers State, BANI SAMUEL advised the youths to shun cultism and embrace education.

BANI SAMUEL while commending the President General of Wise Link Foundation BRUCE WISDOM for purchasing JAMB forms for students in the state also called on influencers, politicians, and youths to emulate the gesture of the foundation.

He said that such gestures will reduce youth restiveness in Rivers State and Niger Delta region.

The NYCN Chairman also asked the benefitting students to utilize the opportunity given to them by the foundation.

BANI SAMUEL added that the Youth Council will continue to partner with organizations like Wise Link Foundation that have the interest of youths at heart in Rivers State.

One of the beneficiaries of the free project ISAAC GOLD of Dominion Life Gate International School, Port Harcourt, commended Wise Link Foundation for the gesture.

She said that the free JAMB forms will enable indigent students to further their education.

ISAAC GOLD also said that the scholarship incentive will motivate her to pass the examination.

Also speaking, a legal practitioner and a member of the International Federation of Female Lawyers FIDA, PAULETTE IYEN commended the foundation for giving the girl child the privileged to go to school.

She said that the gesture will reduce the number of Out of School Children in the country.

Speaking further, PAULETTE IYEN said she was surprised to hear that a foundation is paying for JAMB forms for students during this harsh economic situation.

She, however, pray to God to reward the Wise Link Foundation and its President-General BRUCE WISDOM abundantly.
