Group warns against deploying undemocratic means in the alleged impeachment process against Governor Siminialayi Fubara

In the meantime, the Coalition of Democratic Vanguard has condemned the alleged attempt by some stakeholders to undermine the democratic process in the state.

The Group in a statement signed by its Chairman Thompson Orumbo and the Secretary Peter Nwabunna warned those seeking to impeach the Governor to desist from doing so to avoid causing unrest in the state.

The Group further said that impeachment attempts should be rooted in concrete evidence of wrongdoing and carried out only through legitimate channels, ensuring transparency and accountability.

The Coalition of Democratic Vanguard noted that any attempts to impeach Governor Fubara and Edison Ehie must adhere to these democratic principles.
